Sinar Bron Soirée
Thu, June 22, 2006
Wendy got this invitation for a small party introducing a new product line from a company called Sinar Bron. It seems that this company is a fairly old company with ties to Switzerland selling top end professional cameras.
The party was okay with moderately passable orderves. The best part of the thing was the live photo shoot. The model was not really a looker and too boney but the photographer was said to be a famous professional from Brazil and featured in Vanity Fair.
After the party, we went for a relaxing walk down to Chinatown for some food and then back. I must say that the selection of hot looking women is dwindling in that neck of the woods.

I-CON 2006
Mon, March 27, 2006
It is that time again. It is spring and Wendy and I do our traditional pilgrimage to Stony Brook for the 25th Annual I-CON. For those of you who do not know what I-CON is, it is the largest science fiction convention in the northeast. We had a bunch of fun this year with the traditional Rocky Horror Picture Show starting the weekend off. The next day we got to meet George Takei (Mr. Zulu in Star Trek), Kevin Sorbo (Hercules and Andromeda) and Cassandra Peterson (Elvira). I personally thought that Cassandra Peterson had better stuff to say than the other two, but then it may be my heterosexual desire of big breasts that may of swayed my opinions. After meeting with the royalty, we went looking for food and Wendy set her eyes on a medevial roasted turkey leg. Watching Wendy attempt to finish...

Asia Trip 2005
Wed, November 30, 2005
Finally got around to going back to Hong Kong after 20 some odd years since I immigrated to the USA. Since I was going to travel some six thousand miles, I figured I should get the most out of it. Wendy went with me on the trip and we ended up going to Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, and Japan!
The trip was completely awesome with the China trip being the most fun. We did our own thing for the other countries but for China, we took went with a tour group. I have to say that although the bus ride was brutal, the fellow tourists in the group were great fun and greatly worth it.
For the entire trip, we must of ate at least six meals a day! The food was incredible and cheap as well. I was a bit disappointed with the food in Taiwan and Japan, but those places aren't known for their food (at least...

Since Halloween fell on a weekday this year, it was a real treat that the peanut gallery at Cyberdata gathered together and dressed up for the occasion. Everyone came fully costumed except for the two big honchos and the Stephan.

Wendy and Renzo's Birthday Party
Mon, August 22, 2005
It is that yearly event of Wendy and Renzo's Birthday. Their birthdays are just days from each other so we normally celebrate them together (cheaper that way).
Wendy, Punt and myself went to see a broadway show "Dirty Rotten Scondrels." Unfortunately, John Lithgow, the main star, did not do the matinee, but the understudy performed amazingly. Though I fell asleep for a small part of the first half of it, the show was hysterically funny and well done. The songs were amazingly entertaining and catchy.
After the show, we were delighted to see Jeff Goldblum signing autographs outside of his new play "Pillowman". I hear the play is great, but it was a real treat to see him in person. He is pretty tall, taller than Puneet.
Afterwards, we went to Union Square and walked the park and farmers market...
